2012 {on a Belated note}

I was hoping to get a post in like i do each year for a REcap of the year but I was so all over the place in december that I am barely getting my pictures off the ipad, off the phone and onto the computer! This year was SO exciting! I started the year as a "single" gal and I've ended it as a "married" mrs! How amazing this year has been , even with the Anxiety issues, the fights and make ups, the pressure of work sales, it was still a good year to us! Here are some of the top 12 things of the year! I hope That each year going forward, instead of listing the top 10 i list that number of the year, so next years will be 13 great things, so i gotta start making those memories! Here we go!




12. My car getting murdured by some white truck was definitely not the highlight of the year, if anything due to this accident, we are paying 350 more in bills monthly than we would have been had it not happened. mind you this car, easily replaced but my husband wouldn't be so lucky if it were his side the impact was on. i'm so thankful that even though it was only 5 days after my wedding day, that I didn't loose my husband. it could have been so much worse...

11. Learning how to sew skirts,  absolutely loved making these skirts! I need to get back to it!

10. Getting MARLEY the scion!! (on left) after freezing for a month of scooter rides to work on his vespa we decided it was time to get a new car, who new we would be SO in love with scion almost a year later. We love our car and its perfect for us! 

9.Getting called as a Young Woman Advisor,honestly the most rewarding, and amazing calling is being with these ladies! I love their dedication to the Gospel, they are all on the right path and i love them!

8.Turning  this number, nuff said...

8. Watching some of our closest friends join us in the married club!

Its so weird not being in the same ward, and I miss them so dearly but I know that we are all happy 

with what Heavely father has blessed us with!

6.Meeting my In-laws!! :D i love them so much!!

5. Watching my husband play with his uncles, meeting his uncles and getting to see them perform will be something i could never forget. It was so amazing to know how talented my father in law was and how his legacy has inspired them to continue and share that message with the world. I love you guys!

4.Becoming a Mommy and Daddy to Harry, Chloe and Dottie!

3.Finding out 4 of my cousins are preggos.YAY for being a TIA!

1. GETTING MARRIEEEDDDD!!

The most exciting party i've had since my quinceanera for sure! It was fun to see everything go just the way I wanted it. I love our sealing, it was absolutely perfect, romantic and the reception was exactly how I expected it, FUN and full of love! Thank you to all of our families and friends once again! Best day of life, Feb,18th 2012!

So many memories, so many more to make in 2013! Excited for what is to come!

Dear Newtown,

Words cannot describe the sadness I feel for your community right now. I can cry at any second just thinking about all the babies who were lost in your town. I wish I could be there to hug each and every one of your grieving souls, I wish I could do something to help, I wish I could share with you that each of your babies is wrapped in the arms of our LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER. I think one of them knows, but I'm sure you'd all love to hear it too. I hope that the world, not just this nation learns that we all have to do whatever it is to become a better world, to love and include one another. This is something that should have NEVER even been thought of, who knows what was in his monster-us mind, I don't care to know, but you don't do these things to babies. As I sit here and think of what would sound best to comfort you, Jesus Christ comes to mind. His heart constantly filled with love to us as his children, I just don't understand why these things happen. I won't ever understand. I just hope that we as a nation, and hopefully those who read this, as LDS disciples, that we LIVE our faith, that we should by our example that we are here to do good in the world. May we nurture the souls of other for the benefit of none other but our father in heaven, may we spread his word that we may fill this land with beauty and good works, let us not judge, let us be the saints we are here to be.


may your souls rest in peace young babies, my soul hurts for your loss, and your families involved, may our most gracious HF bring peace to those families during what will be a very difficult time to come. I wish I could spare some of your pain...

Thankful.

This Thanksgiving, there were a lot of thoughts on my mind about the past 365 days and how each day has brought some sort of blessing into my life. This year has been the most fun, stressfilled, difficult, exhausting, exciting and anxious filled year of my life. Who know being a quarter of  a century could end up like mine did. from planning a wedding, to dealing with anxiety disorder and the life of a new married couple, pilled up with car accidents, bills and responsibilities, where can one find the blessings some times. No wonder some people give up, because it isn't easy. My parents always made it look easy to me, or at least i saw it that way. I am so thankful for all this added knowledge I have gained this year on a new form of "responsibilities." I'm so thankful for my husband, whom without would be so difficult to deal with circumstances that have arose in my life,I'm thankful that he is active in our church and able to give me the priesthood blessings I need in times of despair. I am so thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the atonement and my knowledge of this glorious gospel. I am so thankful for families, both in-laws and mine own, for their love and support in all that my hubs and I do.

This Thanksgiving we went to 3 different events, first Lunch with the Utupo clan, whom we love so dearly. Monty's grandmother came down from Las Vegas so we had a special program for her and we really enjoyed her company, she is such a sweet lady. I'm so thankful for her big heart and her love that she not only has but shows for me and our family, she is such an angel to me. We had a small,ahem, "small" lunch consisting of turkey, ham, taro, oka, macncheesie, and such yums. After lunch us "kids" went off and the boys played their video games and us girls became models on my iPad, it was fun!

After, we had a little family home evening where we all shared one thing we were thankful for that year. I vividly remember doing the same last year and it was such a bonding and sweet experience that we got to re-do this year. I am so thankful for the little things that matter.

We then traveled all of a mile back to our place where my mom was having our family dinner. Everyone grabbed their food on the endless buffet table that served not only turkey but some mexican rice, avocados and moms home made beans. The night was filled with smiles, babies crying and an overall good time. I'm grateful for my growing family, have I mentioned that 4 of our cousins are expecting babies next year? Its going to be an amazing addition to our families, we obviously never stop growing! My sister lend me her camera tonight, here are some of my favorite moments of this joyous thanksgiving!
